VoIP E911 Nomadic Solution Now Available for the Enterprise
911 Enable's Enterprise Emergency Solution Brings Safety to the Mobile Workforce
San Diego, CA and Montreal, QC – October 6, 2006 – 911 Enable, a division of ConneXon Telecom Inc, announced today that it will be showcasing its patented E911 VoIP Location Management System™ (LMS) and Extension Bind™ technology at TMC’s IT Expo & Conference, October 10-13, 2006.
“Safety of an enterprise’s mobile workforce is an ongoing concern for many of today’s organizations,” says 911 Enable’s director Lev Deich. “Our new patented Location Management System (LMS) and Extension Bind technology helps VSPs provide E911 support for nomadic extensions and offers enterprises an enhanced level of safety in the workplace.”
“We are constantly updating our Enterprise 911 solution to best meet the needs of today’s VoIP service providers and enterprises that are working to migrate legacy networks over to IP-based calling systems.”
911 Enable is a VoIP E911 provider that offers residential and enterprise E911 solutions in both the US and Canada. Its Location Management System™ was created to provide nomadic employees with the ability to register multiple locations into 911 Enable’s database. This allows them access to critical 911 services regardless of where they generate the call from, ensuring 911 calls will be automatically directed to the appropriate public safety answering point (PSAP). The LMS feature is also compatible with devices such as IP phones and laptops.
Another unique feature of the Enterprise 911 solution is Extension Bind™. This technology is changing the way that emergency dispatchers handle dropped 911 calls.
“Up until now, emergency dispatchers have always had to go through a delaying IVR system or receptionist when calling back the phone number appearing on their screen,” adds Deich. “However, through the use of the extension bind technology, 911 Enable is now capable of binding a traditional phone number to any extension for a period of 48 hours, thus providing the emergency dispatcher with a means to call back the extension directly. As a result, the total time to reach the 911 caller can be reduced by up to 50 per cent.”
