TMC, 911 Enable Join to Launch 911 Services Channel

Norwalk, CT – March 25, 2010 – Technology Marketing Corporation today announced that the 911 Services channel, sponsored by 911 Enable, a division of Connexon, has been launched as the newest addition to the TMCnet channel program.

As more and more organizations migrate to cost-effective and integrated IP networks for communications, the need for enhanced 911 service – or “E911” service – becomes increasingly critical. Requirements for the technology, which leverages location-based services to pinpoint the whereabouts of distressed callers – helping emergency responders do their jobs – are being legislated by more states each year. Enterprise businesses, schools, hospitals and other multi-building campuses are turning to the advanced 911 services to protect people’s lives as well as their property.

Visitors to the 911 Service channel will find breaking news in E911, expert opinions on where the technology is headed and in-depth reporting on 911 service proliferation across a wide spectrum of vertical markets.

To visit the 911 Services channel, click here: http://www.tmcnet.com/channels/911-services/.

“911 Enable is pleased to join forces with TMC to broaden public awareness regarding critical E911 issues, and provide information on our award-winning products and services,” said Alan Fuks, Marketing Manager at 911 Enable. “Taking advantage of TMCnet’s credibility and expertise in driving traffic will reinforce 911 Enable’s position as the E911 industry leader.”

“TMCnet welcomes 911 Enable’s 911 Services channel into our program,” said Dave Rodriguez, president of TMC. “911 Enable is a well-respected company that shares our vision in the advancement of new technologies. Our channel program is a community-building vehicle assisting our partners in building their brand, while contributing to the vast array of valuable content which drives traffic to TMCnet, the most-visited communications and technology Web site in the world.”

TMCnet’s channels are micro-targeted information portals where readers can find topic-specific news, articles, feature stories and product reviews. TMCnet has over 100 channels covering important topics in the IP Communications, VoIP, IP Telephony, CRM, Call Center and Information Technology industries.

TMCnet is the leading Web site for communications and technology professionals. TMCnet achieved a record breaking 3 million visitors and 36 million page views in March 2008 according to Webtrends.
